Dear Swing Teddies and Friends,
We want to thank you for all your enthusiasm, interest and encouragement for our "Grand Mountain Adventure". A lot of you have sent emails or called us to chat. The arrangement with the hotel sets us a fixed booking rate of 60% by 30th of March.
We already have confirmed and paid bookings BUT NOT ENOUGH to meet the deadline for the hotel - this is a problem.
We do not exactly know why we did not get enough confirmed and paid bookings, but there was and is such a good response in favour our event all over Europe. Maybe it is the economic situation today, maybe a lot of people are afraid to travel? We only got confirmed bookings from Switzerland and England, plus only one from Germany. There may be different reasons and as we all know the air is very thin these days for high quality events especially if you want to provide first class live entertainment as we did with Alex Mendham and his superb Orchestra. Maybe we also misjudged the fact that things like dress codes are often the “piece de resistance”.

We are very sad about the fact we have to cancel “The Grand Mountain Adventure”. This is early enough to allow you to make new plans for later this year. We deeply regret this and apologize to all our friends that supported the event and have already booked and paid. We have fully refunded everybody that had sent us money. We apologize for all the inconvenience.
We thank again and hope to see you some were in Europe in the near future.
Kind Regards
Teddie & Helvetia Chevalier
